This activity was designed and proposed as an information and technology transfer project to assist Cuban private independent farmers to establish successful farming operations and independent agricultural cooperatives.

The National Alliance of Independent Cuban Farmers (ANAIC), representing the nascent movement of independent farmers in Cuba, has requested technical and material assistance from Agricultural Cooperative Development International / Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance (ACDI/VOCA).
